Alt Current: The Pulse of Indie Rock

Music is integral to life - it surrounds us, underpins culture, defines eras of both society and personal lives, and is a form of self-expression. A beautiful aspect of music is how it brings together like-minded people, and this blog aims to be a space to unite fans of indie rock.

I am greatly passionate about music and hope to put this passion into my writing and, in doing so, attract like-minded people to create a community of music fans. This blog is a space for all things music, discussing topics from favourite albums, upcoming artists, concert reviews, discussions of different artists and their work, and more!

Indie rock music is a genre that overflows with emotion. The songs released by the likes of Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Fontaines D.C., and many more, are rich with meaningful and emotional content, which allows their listeners to connect with their work on such a deep level. I think I speak for many fans of the genre when I say this such a key reason as to why this kind of music resonates with us more than any other.
